Workforce Investment Board
What
We Do and Why We Do It!:
The Pikes Peak Workforce Investment Board (WIB)
organizes a comprehensive, community-wide response to the challenges
of building a highly-skilled workforce and links efforts to
the broader economic and political goals of the Pikes Peak
Region.
The WIB is a non-profit organization comprised
of business, community and government leaders from the Pikes
Peak Region. To see who’s on the Board, click here.
The Board is dedicated to improving performance of regional
businesses through long-term development of a job-ready
and skilled workforce.
Because they are key customers of the workforce systems
and primary resources into current and future skill need,
local businesses drive the Board’s policy setting
and decision making.
Board direction ensures that the Pikes Peak Region is
a community where a skilled and educated workforce is a
key asset in attracting and retaining businesses.
