The 2010 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Summer Youth Employment Program has been developed to create paid internship opportunities for low-income, out-of-school young adults between the ages of 16 and 24.

 

These internships will take place at businesses and organizations throughout El Paso and Teller Counties.

 

Youth participants in the ARRA Summer Youth Employment Program need to be available between April 21 and June 30, 2010, for on-the-job work experience and ongoing career readiness and life skills training. Eligibility requirements must be met. Limited slots are available, and the Pikes Peak Workforce Center Youth Zone will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis through April 21, 2010.
