Luce Research Hiring Event: Friday, July 31, 2015 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Luce Research is a Data Collection Specialist that conducts surveys via phone/web in such areas of Market Research; Political Research, Voter Contact, etc. Hiring part-time positions with flexibility in setting up your schedules. Shifts are seven days a week and have immediate openings for ENGLISH AND BILINGUAL TELEPHONE INTERVIEWERS who will conduct these surveys through a computer aided Telephone Interviewing system (CATI System). Salary starts at $9.00/hr. Come prepared with two forms of ID and be ready to interview at the PPWFC hiring event or go directly to Luce Research LLC located at 5086 List Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80919 Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 4pm to apply.

Discover Goodwill Hiring Event: Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. We are hiring for temporary/seasonal staff to support the organization’s Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). We’re looking to hire for over 100 positions. Positions: Administrative Support, Data Verification, Technicians, Data Entry and Clerks. Successful candidates must demonstrate ability to provide excellent customer service and work as part of a dynamic team. Heavy computer/phone duties. Bilingual individuals are encouraged to apply. Discover Goodwill Hiring Event at the Aspen Mine Center (Cripple Creek): Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Aspen Mine Center located in Cripple Creek. Personal Care Providers (PCPs) offer in-home assistance to individuals with physical and developmental challenges by performing routine tasks, such as housekeeping, home management, personal care and emotional support. Our PCPs typically work part-time shifts and are dedicated to one or two clients in order to establish strong and lasting relationships. In addition to flexible schedules, we also offer flexible residential worksites throughout Teller County. Signal 88 Security of Colorado Springs Hiring Event: Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. SECURITY OFFICERS (Part Time). Responsibilities: Reporting to all shifts on time in the appropriate field officer uniform as outlined in the S88 Standard Operating Procedures, understanding and meeting the needs of each unique site and updating other guards at the time of each shift change, protecting a site (apartment complex, business mall, construction site, special events) in a fixed location. Guard duties will include: making presence known; providing escort for residents or customers to designated locations as requested; preventing trespassing or loitering on site; routinely checking doors; lighting, trash and security assessments; detailed activity reports of each shift.  Guard will not be using force of any kind, only a visual deterrence. Relius Medical Hiring Event: Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Quality Inspectors – Class I, II & III (Job#s 6224516, 6224519 and 6224531): Main duties include final and in process inspections of repeat jobs, work pieces, machine parts, and assembled units for conformance to specifications. Inspection of these products will require using functional product gages, inspection instruments, and optical comparator. Inspector will document there inspections using customers provided inspection requirements or Relius Medical quality requirements (quality IDT sheets), and inspection procedures. MACHINIST CLASS I (Job# 6234266): Under limited supervision, produce, and maintain the quality of dimensionally accurate parts from a variety of materials utilizing the tools and skills of the machining trade. DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST (Job# 6234268): Coordinates, implements, and maintains the company’s Document Control System. Coordinates labeling activities through change management interfacing with suppliers to meet quality standards and timelines. Xerox Hiring Event: Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 9 am to Noon and 1 pm to 4 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES - Job Responsibilities:  Respond to, handle and resolve customer inquiries, provide customers with product and service information, process orders, forms and applications. Identify and escalate customer issues and handle customer billing questions. Skills/Abilities: Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, excellent listening skills, strong empathy skills, ability to problem solve and multi-task, attention to detail, negotiation skills, positive dynamic personality, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and typing skills of 20wpm or more. Retail Clerks: Operation of the store, point of sale computer system, handling customer transactions in a courteous manner, following all company policies and procedures pertaining to each type of transaction, and presentation of the company (Job# 6204743). Assistant Pricing Coordinator: Assist in the replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor including filling merchandise, use of hand held pricing tools, hand held computerized scanners, assisting in setting up displays and advertised items, assist in maintaining the store appearance including general housekeeping tasks such as dusting of displays and merchandise, cleaning of shelves and display areas, keeping all employee areas clean and safe (Job# 6204744). Brickman/ValleyCrest Hiring Event: Friday, August 7, 2015 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Our ValleyCrest branch in Colorado Springs is looking for 6-8 full time LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CREW MEMBERS to work on location at the Fort Carson Base. Qualifications: Able to work Outdoors in all weather conditions, lift/carry 35-80 pounds and safely work with equipment such as power saws and cutters. Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience is helpful but not required. Must have an understanding of landscape basics and a valid Colorado ID/Driver License. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen as well as a background check. Pay starts at $10.00 per hour and goes up depending on experience.
