Discover Goodwill Hiring Event: Tuesday April 21, 2015 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. We are hiring Case Managers. The Case Manager will assess and interview recipients to obtain necessary information and background for accurately assessing their individual situations. It is preferred that the incumbent have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact with various types of internal and external customers. Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling and Guidance or related degree , applicable field or equivalent combination of training and experience in a social service, counseling or rehabilitation setting, providing direct services to persons with physical, emotional and/or developmental disabilities will also be considered. Skyline Products Hiring Event: Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 10 am to 1pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center.  Presentation starts PROMPTLY at 10:00 am, 11:00 am and Noon. Day and night shifts - multiple positions: MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS (Job# 6121910 and 6121911) - Responsible for cutting, fabricating, and assembly of various assembly parts using hand tools and the above machinery. All assembly parts are made out of extruded aluminum and delrin (plastic). Parts are assembled per blue prints and verbal instruction. ELECTRICAL-DC AND AC ASSEMBLERS (Job# 6121943) - Responsible for cutting, fabricating, and assembly of various assembly parts using hand tools and the below machinery. All assembly parts are made out of extruded aluminum and delrin (plastic). Parts are assembled per blue prints and verbal instruction. SHEET METAL FABRICATORS (Job# 6121912) - Operates fabricating machines: such as cutoff saws, shears, and brake presses, forming machines that punch, cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLERS (Job# 6122246) - Assembles electronic parts, subassemblies and components by performing the following duties. WAREHOUSE CLERK (Job# 6122334) - Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. WELDERS (Job# 6122245) - Lay out, fit and weld fabricated aluminum components to assemble structural forms, selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding, lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together, bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding, welds parts, using MIG, and Tig welding processes, assembles parts by bolting and riveting, repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, AWS D 1.2 Aluminum Certification not required but preferred, aluminum fabrication Skills. One to two years related experience and/or training. No certificates and Licenses needed. CDL DRIVER/ASSEMBLER (Job# 6125004) - Support sales and marketing efforts by hauling product to sales demonstrations and tradeshows nationwide, as needed. Responsibilities also include assisting sales reps as needed during the demonstration and arranging maintenance for truck, trailer, and other demonstration equipment. Luce Research Hiring Event: Monday, April 27, 2015 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Luce Research is a Data Collection Specialist that conducts surveys via phone/web in such areas of Market Research; Political Research, Voter Contact, etc. Hiring part-time positions with flexibility in setting up your schedules. Shifts are seven days a week and have immediate openings for ENGLISH AND BILINGUAL TELEPHONE INTERVIEWERS who will conduct these surveys through a computer aided Telephone Interviewing system (CATI System). Salary starts at $9.00/hr. Come prepared with two forms of ID and be ready to interview at the PPWFC hiring event or go directly to Luce Research LLC located at 5086 List Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80919 Mon-Fri between the hours of 9am-4pm to apply.

Affiliated Business Consultants (ABC) Hiring Event: Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center.  Presentation starts PROMPTLY at 10:00 am.  ONLY one session at 10 am. RESEARCH TECHNICIANS - Position requires making several outbound calls daily. The nature of these calls is to research the compatibility of other businesses with ours. There is no selling involved. Necessary computer skills include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be able to perform in a professional work environment and possess strong conversational and active listening skills. These skills must be backed by a strong work ethic. The effective Research Technician with $8.23 hourly plus bonus, can earn between $14 and $18 per hour. Come prepared with your updated resume.

Graven Austin & Drake Hiring Event: Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. We are a fast paced outbound call center and deal with a large range of clients from Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies Home Journal, salons, dental offices and various other customers. Immediate openings for TELEPHONE SALES REPRESENTATIVES. Responsibilities: Renew annual magazine subscriptions for most of our clientele and send out free publications to companies, and as a fast paced production based position, to meet the required quotas. Weekly pay ranges from $9.00 to $10.00 an hour. Two shifts Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm OR 3:00pm to 8:00 pm. No experience necessary but we do require you have strong reading and good communication skills. Computer skills are a plus. We offer paid time off to be accrued after only six months of employment. This is a high volume, fast paced call center environment and requires the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times. You must be available to work any shift and could conceivably include day/evening shifts, weekend and holiday coverage as needed.  Outstanding full time benefits package and growth opportunity. Wage - $11.50 /hr. plus uncapped commission/incentive bonus opportunities. OUTBOUND SALES AGENT: Call current and former Time Warner Cable customers to consult, assess needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.  Overcome objections and close the sales.
