To attend a hiring event at Pikes Peak Workforce Center you must RESERVE A SPOT PRIOR to the event. To reserve your spot, please click on the link of the hiring event you want to attend.
 
Unless otherwise noted, all Hiring Events are held at the PPWFC main office, 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, 80907.

Gordmans Hiring Event: Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Gordmans is hiring 100 associates for their new store in Colorado Springs. Positions include: Cashier, Stockroom Associate, and Guest Services Associate. Duties will be as dictated by business needs. Acknowledge and greet all guests in a pleasant and courteous manner; Full time positions will be responsible for acting in a lead capacity and for providing daily direction to associates in a specified area within the store. Must be at work on a regular and predictable basis or as scheduled. Early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required. Trinity Services Group Hiring Event: Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 9 am to 1 pm and Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from Noon to 4 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Trinity Services Group is a food service, commissary and technology provider of large and small correctional facilities. Trinity is looking to hire for multiple Food Services Supervisors. If you have the passion to build the finest, pole barns, equestrian buildings, steel buildings and more, we are looking to hire for the positions of ENTRY LEVEL FRAMER - The Construction Crew Member is an active member of a team constructing quality building projects that are profitable and provide a positive construction experience for the customer. This position plays an important role in helping the construction team promote a positive attitude, set and meet goals and achieve company objectives. LEAD FRAMER - Efficiently execute tasks needed to complete a quality building including but not limited to: digging and installing footings, framing walls and roof structures, installing windows, entry and other doors and door openings, installing various siding and roofing materials including hi-rib steel, shingles, wood and other siding materials and mortarless masonry units, finishing with metal and wood trims. FRAMER FOREMAN - The Crew Foreman (CF) will create a team that constructs quality projects that are profitable and provides a positive construction experience for the customer. Provide professional leadership by creating a safe, organized work environment that is productive and enjoyable and treat all employees and customers with dignity and respect. Ensure crew members, including new hires, are fully trained and follow all safety and construction procedures. Coordinate with the Area Crew Supervisor for continuous crew training and re-training. Xerox Hiring Event: Friday, August 5, 2016 from 9 am 3 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES - Job Responsibilities:  Respond to, handle and resolve customer inquiries, provide customers with product and service information, process orders, forms and applications. Identify and escalate customer issues and handle customer billing questions. Skills/Abilities: Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, excellent listening skills, strong empathy skills, ability to problem solve and multi-task, attention to detail, negotiation skills, positive dynamic personality, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and typing skills of 20 wpm or more. Experience/Requirements: Ability to navigate in a Windows environment, six months or more experience in a customer service environment preferred. Ability to demonstrate continuous employment/work history and high school diploma or equivalent. Come prepared to take an assessment and to be interviewed.
