To attend a hiring event at Pikes Peak Workforce Center you must RESERVE A SPOT PRIOR to the event. To reserve your spot, please click on the link of the hiring event you want to attend.
Unless otherwise noted, all Hiring Events are held at the PPWFC main office, 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, 80907.

Xerox Hiring Event: Friday, February 12, 2016 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES - Job Responsibilities:  Respond to, handle and resolve customer inquiries, provide customers with product and service information, process orders, forms and applications. Identify and escalate customer issues and handle customer billing questions. Skills/Abilities: Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, excellent listening skills, strong empathy skills, ability to problem solve and multi-task, attention to detail, negotiation skills, positive dynamic personality, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and typing skills of 20wpm or more. Experience/Requirements: Ability to navigate in a Windows environment, six months or more experience in a customer service environment preferred. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES: Provide customer service (information and assistance) on all aspects of cable services, an opportunity to sell and upgrade potential and current customers by telephone, receive high volume of incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a manner which meets high quality, productivity and other Time Warner Cable customer service standards, SELL and upgrade cable services. Requires recent heavy volume phone experience in a customer service capacity; automatic call distribution experience preferred, customer service, public relations, telecommunications and data entry experience also preferred, sales experience desirable, must be willing to work any schedule; days, evenings and occasionally weekends. Luce Research Hiring Events: February 18, 24 and 29, 2016 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Luce Research is a Data Collection Specialist that conducts surveys via phone/web in such areas of Market Research; Political Research, Voter Contact, etc. Hiring part-time positions with flexibility in setting up your schedules. Shifts are seven days a week and have immediate openings for ENGLISH AND BILINGUAL TELEPHONE INTERVIEWERS who will conduct these surveys through a computer aided Telephone Interviewing system (CATI System). Salary starts at $9.00/hr. Loomis Armored US Hiring Event: Friday, February 19, 2016 from 11 am to 2:30 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Loomis Armored seeks highly qualified individuals to join our team and become a fully functional Armored Services Technician (AST). These positions are Denver-based and start at $13.00/hour, and are sometimes referred to as driver/guard or messenger/guard. Armored Service Technicians work as a team on a designated route. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cash and coin to Loomis customers, as well as the loading and balancing of ATM machines along your route. You will be thoroughly trained in a classroom setting and receive on-the-job training with an experienced Armored Service Technician. We believe that our people make Loomis a great company. Loomis teammates are constantly encouraged in personal development and are updated on the newest safety and security training. Our training is second to none in the industry. We are looking for applicants who are at least 21 years of age, have a current driver's license and a good driving record, show steady employment history and can pass a comprehensive background check that includes criminal history check, credit check and in some states a pre-employment polygraph. This position requires that you pass a Department of Transportation screening and be issued a DOT Medical Certification. A CDL license is not required to be considered. Signal 88 Security of Colorado Springs Hiring Event: Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 9 am to Noon at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. SECURITY OFFICERS (Part Time). Responsibilities: Reporting to all shifts on time in the appropriate field officer uniform as outlined in the S88 Standard Operating Procedures, understanding and meeting the needs of each unique site and updating other guards at the time of each shift change, protecting a site (apartment complex, business mall, construction site, special events) in a fixed location. Guard duties will include: making presence known; providing escort for residents or customers to designated locations as requested; preventing trespassing or loitering on site; routinely checking doors; lighting, trash and security assessments; detailed activity reports of each shift. Guard will not be using force of any kind, only a visual deterrence. Requirements: Completing all appropriate on-line and physical training modules within 30 days of hire, must possess city of Colorado Springs security license or the ability to obtain the license, Requirements and fees can be found at the City of Colorado Springs website under "City Clerk", ability to obtain above license within 3 days and begin training immediately, successfully passing a drug test and background check, no criminal convictions, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing, good typing skills as all reporting is done online, ability to learn new software in an efficient and effective timeframe (Patrol guide, Inteliguide, etc), able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States, ability to interact with all levels of Signal 88 and client employees and the public in a direct, timely and professional manner, ability to get along with other employees, follows directions, work under stress, add value and continuously improve, ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.
