To attend a hiring event at Pikes Peak Workforce Center you must RESERVE A SPOT PRIOR to the event. To reserve your spot, please click on the link of the hiring event you want to attend.
 
Unless otherwise noted, all Hiring Events are held at he PPWFC main office, 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, 80907.

Thank you for your interest in our On-The-Job Training Program. Pikes Peak Workforce Center is currently in the process of expanding and improving our program! While we are working on improvements we are not able to offer the On-the-Job Training Program until July 21, 2014. However, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Hiring SETUP CREW ASSOCIATES – All Shifts Your Local Woodland Park, CO Supercenter is Remodeling! Now Hiring SETUP CREW ASSOCIATES – All Shifts (Please apply by September 10th) Job Responsibilities: Ensures empty pallets, fixtures, cardboard and trash are removed from the sales floor and performs maintenance and cleaning, including keeping floors dry and clean as required by assigned departments; after construction is completed, installs new fixtures into assigned departments by using tools to assemble racks, shelves and display cases. Places the fixtures in the appropriate location as directed by a member of the Special Walmart Action Team (SWAT) group, monitors area for signs of shrink and potential security risks, and contacts management and/or In-Store Loss Prevention when problems are identified, maintains an organized backroom by stacking empty pallets, taking returns to a designated location, bailing cardboard, emptying the bailer when full, disposing of trash in the compactor and cleaning the backroom, stocks empty fixtures by retrieving stock from the backroom; places merchandise on shelves, racks and display cases; and follows merchandise flow procedures, ensures appropriate signing by scanning product with an electronic scanner and printing labels on the fixture in the correct location. WIS International Hiring Event: Wednesday September 3, 2014 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. NOW is the time to join WIS International!  WIS is more than just a place to work. We’re a successful international team providing inventory expertise to top retailers and warehouses, while using the most advanced hand-held computer technology in the industry! We have an immediate need for INVENTORY ASSOCIATES who like to work varied hours and count inventory as a team! Voluntary van transportation is offered for our "out of town" inventories. To qualify as a driver, you must meet the Inventory Associate requirements AND possess a driving record free of any at fault accidents or driving violations within the past 24 months. Front Range Staffing Hiring Event: Thursday September 4, 2014 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. We are recruiting for experienced Manufacturing and Packaging 1st and 2nd shifts, Warehouse/Shipping Receiving, and Hospitality positions. Consideration for the right candidate: At least 18 years of age, legal right to work in the US, stable work history, the experience listed that we are looking for, transportation, pass a pre-employment background check, pass a drug screen, flexibility and availability for overtime, stand for 8 hours a day and a High School Diploma or GED. Alorica Hiring Event: Thursday September 4, 2014 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES - Position will provide a full range of superior, proactive customer service, technical support, consultative sales and relationship management to Verizon & Samsung. The Customer Service & Technical Support Representatives will: Answer phones and respond to customer requests regarding billing, technical and general customer service inquiries, provide customers with product and service information, identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system, follow-up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved, complete call logs and reports, research billing issues, research misapplied payments, recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls. Representatives for Technical Support will conduct troubleshooting, cellular system analysis, and technical analysis on customers Smartphone and tablet devices. Luce Research Hiring Event: Friday September 5 and Monday September 8, 2014 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Luce Research is a Data Collection Specialist that conducts surveys via phone/web in such areas of Market Research; Political Research, Voter Contact, etc. Hiring part-time positions with flexibility in setting up your schedules. Shifts are seven days a week and have immediate openings for TELEPHONE INTERVIEWERS who will conduct these surveys through a computer aided Telephone Interviewing system (CATI System). Salary starts at $8.00/hr. and $9.00/hr. for individuals who are fluent in both English and Spanish. Come prepared with two forms of ID and be ready to interview at the PPWFC hiring event or go directly to Luce Research LLC located at 5086 List Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80919 Mon-Fri between the hours of 9am-4pm to apply.
