register online at www.ppwfc.org . Youth
may use all of the free services listed earlier to find
their next job or their first job. America's Job Bank
and SpringsJobs.com list many opportunities for work.
The Workforce Investment Act Youth Program serves
low-income youth, ages 14-21, who have one or more of
the following barriers to successful employment:
- basic skills deficient,
- school dropout,
- homeless,
- runaway,
- foster child,
- pregnant or parenting teen,
- an offender,
- or a young person who needs special assistance to
complete their education.
